Arcadia University in Philadelphia hosted an impactful Teacher Conference, bringing together professional educators from various prestigious colleges and universities, including notable presenters from Temple University. The event provided a platform for educators to exchange innovative teaching practices and leadership strategies, inspiring a renewed commitment to educational excellence. Participants Dr. Zachary Minken of Arcadia University and Assistant Principal, Herb Green of Temple University, Eual Phillips (Seasoned Teacher), Eldred "Jay" Bagley of Temple University, Megan Burrell (Seasoned Science & Engineering Teacher), and Rondell Wilson (Seasoned Science Teacher) expressed a collective determination to enhance the educational landscape by incorporating new insights and methods learned at the conference. The event underscored the critical role educators play in shaping future generations.A standout interview conducted by Rize McGill from RizeUpTV featured Herb Green, a seasoned educator with 37 years of experience in the classroom. Herb shared his passion for teaching and emphasized the deep sense of fulfillment it brings when students discover their potential by teachers that have a passion to enter the classroon with purpose. Now collaborating with Temple University, he encourages future educators to enter the profession, highlighting that certification can be completed in just four years. His reflections on mentorship and purpose served as a powerful reminder of the long-term impact great teachers can make. Herb’s insight captured the hearts of attendees, reaffirming that teaching is both a noble calling and a vital career path.

 

 

Throughout the day, Rize McGill, CEO of SunRize Kids Solutions and RizeUpTV, conducted insightful interviews, gathering valuable feedback from educators regarding the latest educational technologies such as Drones, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLM), and Robotics. These discussions highlighted how hands-on tech experiences can significantly boost student engagement and clarify early career paths for young learners and the need for more teachers with a purpose to enter 4 year programs with a teacher license. Educators shared personal success stories illustrating how technology integration sparked curiosity and sustained interest in STEM subjects among their students with gifted teachers. The interviews revealed a shared belief in technology's power to profoundly enrich learning experiences by teachers with purpose to enhance student outcomes.
